This week the PPG SM3T Economic Education Study Program has entered the Peer Teaching Practice stage for SSP (Subject Specific Pedagogy) 2. In its implementation, the 22 PPG participants were divided into 2 groups with each participant doing 2 rounds of practice.

Kuntari Dasih, a student from the Economics Education Department, Faculty of Economics, UNY, won the second place in the 2011 National Youth Leadership Writing Competition, in the General Youth category. The activity which was carried out in commemoration of the 83rd Youth Pledge Day, carried the theme "Active Role and Independence of Youth in Improving National Competitiveness" with five categories, namely Student, Student, Youth Organization (OK), General Youth, and Professional Writer.

In the context of the welfare of its people, the government is obliged to manage and regulate existing resources, both natural resources and others for mutual benefit, as stated in the 1945 Constitution which also states that the earth, land, water and everything in them are used as much as possible. the amount is for the common interest, and the one who is entrusted with managing it is BUMN (State-Owned Enterprise).

Students of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics, UNY, namely Miftakhul Hidayah, Bagja Sumantri, and Sri Nuryanto won second place in the "Economic Issues" National Debate competition which was held at Ganesha Education University (UNDIKSHA) Bali on Friday (18/5). Participants in this Debate Competition are students of Economic Education from all universities in Indonesia who formed a forum in the All-Indonesian Economic Education Student Association (IMAPESI).
