In accordance with the vision of UNY's Economic Education study program, being a superior economic education major is not just a figment. Various efforts have been made by universities and study programs to improve the quality of learning. We will always encourage a culture of diligent learning and reading. This month, we present a source of reference for financial institution knowledge that is not kidding. Thank God Madya PROF DR Sharifah Faigah Syed Alwi from Universiti Teknologi Mara Shah Alam Malaysia is pleased to give lectures to the Economics Education Study Program this semester.

This Visiting Professor program is a form of collaboration between Yogyakarta State University and Universiti Teknologi Mara Shah Alam Malaysia. Steps to improve the quality of learning require a lot of effort, one of which is adding references and scientific treasures from other universities. The subject chosen by the study program is Financial Institutions. This course is very relevant to the problems currently experienced by Indonesia. We know that financial institutions have an important role as one of the implementers in maintaining economic stability. By studying financial institutions in Malaysia, students of economics education study program can also learn valuable lessons on how a country runs its economy in a global pandemic.
