SEMINAR ON OPTIMIZING RURAL SDGs THROUGH COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global action plan agreed by world leaders, including Indonesia, to end poverty, reduce inequality and protect the environment. The SDGs contain 17 Goals and 169 Targets that are expected to be achieved by 2030. To support and optimize the SDGs in the scope of research, the development team for the economic education study program held an online seminar on Optimizing Rural SDGs through Collaborative Research. This activity was opened with remarks by the Deputy Dean I of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Setyabudi Indartono, Ph.D who stated that efforts to achieve village SDGs in the COVID-19 pandemic situation and conditions were not easy, that's why, The use of village funds in 2021 is prioritized to finance activities that support the achievement of 10 (ten) village SDGs related to national economic recovery activities, national priority programs, and adaptation of new village habits. This activity presented two resource persons, the first speaker was Gatut Ferianto, SP as a Practitioner in the field of Village Assistance in Yogyakarta Province, the second resource person was Sulasmi, M.Pd was a lecturer in Economics Education at UNY. The activity was held on Friday, August 6, 2021 and was attended by 113 people consisting of students, lecturers, and the general public. Participants were enthusiastic in participating in the activity, this could be seen from actively responding and asking questions in the question and answer session during the activity.
