The 2020 National Seminar activities have been carried out and run smoothly and well. This year's 2020 National Seminar was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The HMPE 2020 National Seminar activity carries the theme ??Education and Business Transformation in Facing COVID-19?? guided by one moderator, Isnaeni Nur Utami, who is a student of Economics Education and two speakers, namely Dr. Ali Muhson, S.Pd., M.Pd. who is a lecturer in Economics Education and Mr. Abdul Muiz who is the Founder of the Saka Foundation (Sociopreneur Academy Kalijaga) and Yogyakarta Business Motivator & Trainer.

This activity took place on Sunday, July 12, 2020. In this activity, there were a series of events, starting with a formal opening by the MC. After that, the next event is the speeches. The first speech was from the chairman of the committee, namely Arroziqo Akbar Rodhialloh, followed by remarks from Mrs. Sulasmi, M.Pd. as the Assistant Lecturer of the Economic Education Student Association and the last remark from Mr.Dr. Siswanto, M.Pd. as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Yogyakarta State University who at the same time inaugurated the 2020 HMPE National Online Seminar.

The next event is the main event, namely the presentation of material from speaker 1 by Dr. Ali Muhson, S.Pd., M.Pd. guided by a moderator. Speaker1 delivered material with the sub-theme of education. Mr. Dr. Ali Muhson, S.Pd., M.Pd. delivered material with the title "Learning and Learning in the Era of the COVID-19 Pandemic". The material presented by speaker 1 was about the impact of COVID-19 on education in Indonesia, the transformation of education in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of online platforms in online learning, and the management that must be done in online learning. After the presentation of the material from speaker 1, it was followed by a question and answer session for speaker 1, a question and answer session for term 1 with 3 questioners. Then the event continued with the presentation of material by speaker 2, namely Mr. Abdul Muiz who was still guided by the moderator. Speaker 2 delivered material with the sub-theme of economics. Mr. Abdul Muiz delivered the material with the title "Business in Facing COVID-19". The material presented by Mr. Abdul Muiz was about the number of unemployed in Indonesia, the characteristics of entrepreneurs, the pillars of entrepreneurs, the factors of success, and business strategies in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. After the presentation of the material from speaker 2, it was followed by a question and answer session by speaker 2, a question and answer session for term 2 with 3 questioners. The event continued with the announcement of door prizes to participants who asked questions, the door prizes were won by Syahrul Ramadhan from Pangkep State Agricultural Polytechnic and Aditya Firmansyah from Pancasakti University, Tegal. The next event was a group photo session led by the MC and attended by all participants, invited guests, lecturers, speakers and committee. After the group photo session, the last event was the closing by the MC.
