PLT (INTEGRATED PRACTICE) ECONOMIC EDUCATION STUDENTS IN MALAYSIA SCHOOLS

Khusnul khotimah, one of the 2016 economic education students, participated in the International Integrated Field Practice (PLT) program at the Sultan Yussuf Batu Gajah Vocational School, Malaysia. International PLT activities are a forum for students to practice teaching abroad. This program lasts for 23 days, from 18 August 2019 to 8 September 2019.

In 2019, the international PLT under the Office of International Affairs and Partnerships (KUIK) UNY only passed 19 students who had followed a series of selections, namely file selection, interviews, and two-language teaching practice (Indonesian and English).

Khusnul's impression after the long distance interview with the editorial team of the study program showed an extraordinary thing. “I was welcomed very well and friendly”, “I was immediately entrusted with teaching subjects that were quite different in Indonesia, namely the Commerce subject. This folder is a more specific part of the economics map in Indonesia”. Some other important impressions according to Khusnul are "Khusnul is impressed with the education here, sir...he prioritizes the quality of the brain over the quality of the building, there is no seniority, the students are very enthusiastic and obedient".

Hopefully there will be a lot of knowledge and learning culture that Ananda Khusnul can bring to Indonesian education.
