ONLINE LEARNING ASSISTANCE TRAINING FOR HOUSEWIVES TO IMPROVE DIGITAL LITERATURE IN GEMBLEGAN VILLAGE, KALIKOTES, KLATEN

The outbreak of COVID-19 for more than a year has forced the government to issue new regulations for teachers, students and parents of students to do learning from home, namely doing online learning. The number of parents who do not master the features of online learning makes learning held at home quite difficult. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out mentoring activities for parents, especially housewives, so that they can have convenience in accompanying children when carrying out online learning at home. The purpose of this Community Service Activity is to increase digital literacy for housewives in Gembelgan village through online learning assistance activities with features such as the Zoom application, Google Classroom and Quizizz. The location of this community service is in the village of Gumblegan. The training activity was held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. The activity was carried out at the Gembelgan village office with two speakers. The first speaker was Muhammad Roestam Afandi, M.Ec., Dev who presented material on parental awareness in dealing with learning loss due to online learning, while the second speaker was Nenden Susilowati, M.Pd who explained the use of good learning features that are often used for elementary, middle and high school students. The activity was attended by 30 consisting of the general public, especially housewives in Gumblegan village as well as female employees at the village office. Participants were enthusiastic in participating in the activity, this could be seen from actively responding and asking questions in the question and answer session during the activity.
