ECONOMIC EDUCATION STUDENT TEAM PASSED KBMI AND KMI EXPO WITH FROZEN FOOD BUSINESS

The Indonesian Student Business Competition is one of the activities of the 2020 Independent Learning Entrepreneurship Program which opens opportunities for students to submit proposals for their business/business activities to be submitted to obtain funding from Belmawa. Starting from this activity, a team consisting of Isnaeni Nur Utami, Risty Indriyani, Goldina Raina Putri and chaired by Muhammad Alvin Mauludy submitted a proposal to KBMI 2020 with a culinary business field called Asli Fresh Frozen Food. The team was guided by Mr. Ahmad Chafid Alwi, S.Pd., M. Pd. produces food with a distinctive taste of the archipelago such as Mangut fish, jerky, ungkep chicken and others. This idea arose when the pandemic occurred when sales became substandard so the team looked for a solution to continue the business without reducing the existence of typical Indonesian food.

After conducting several guidances organized by the UNY Rectorate student body and going through several stages of internal and external selection, on July 29, 2020 it was announced that the team had passed the funding from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.

Not stopping after being funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture, the team continued its business ventures more broadly by participating in the KMI Expo (Indonesian Student Competition) held by Podomoro University through the hopin.com application which was held on 4-5 December 2020. Not only student business exhibitions Of course, this activity is complemented by a seminar that brings speakers with entrepreneurial expertise so that it becomes a good input for students in continuing their business and networking with fellow students.
